Title: actin funny Post by: dodgegirl on September 16, 2012, 09:49:17 pm I've got a 3 yeae old bulldog that's loves people & all other dogs male & female. I got a new pup a few weeks ago & my bulldog hates him. It just doesn't make any sense.

He also might be jealous. Dogs are real perceptive and pick up on things we don't notice. Try loving on em both at the same time. I've seen the jealously thing with house dogs that are handled alot. I really paid close attention today and every time my pup came towards me my bulldog would stand a few feet in front of me and "stand guard". He would turn his head towards the the pup and the pup would back off

I agree...sometimes a dog will get jealous over a new pup or dog if you give it to much attention...sometimes dogs get jealous over a new born baby...
