Title: flintlock.muzzel loader Post by: chestonmcdowell on September 26, 2012, 08:40:02 pm Ok I know this isn't a gun forum and ive tried googling it but anyway my older flintlock muzzeloader pistols hammer most of the time will not fully drop down it goes to halfcock. Sometimes itwill fullydrop and everything. Ik the flint part is all good. But I need some help thanks!!
Title: Re: flintlock.muzzel loader Post by: charles on September 26, 2012, 08:44:24 pm is there a spring in there that forces the hammer down towards the strike plate? could have a loose or broke spring or its gummed up from yrs of oil and dirt, if there is a spring in it.
