Title: 5-25-09 early hunt Post by: Lyssy on May 27, 2009, 11:23:39 am We went out early monday evening as the sun was setting. As we pulled in the gate we saw three big boars cross, so we dumped and as we did that we heard some squealing. Turnned to look for dogs and they were gone. So a buddy and i ran down to some sandars and started to shoot at hogs crossing them. Then the dogs bayed up and the were caught in a matter of seconds. Dispatched the Boar and kicked them loose and started to hunting for more. Then they bayed up on a sow and got that one dispatched nd decided to call it a night. We killed a total of six that night stuck 2 and shot 4 but we couldnt get to the others in the brush because it was t thick and i was to tired to go in and drag them out. The boar and sow in the pics went about 160 and the shoat was about 20, but the other three one was a shoat and the other two were boars about the same size.
