50% payback on all entries the option and calcutta will be available there is a percentage payout on each class on the calcutta the remainder of the calcutta money from each event will go to the high point dog of the bay so in a since the calcutta is a 100% payback

The "option" is typically just a side pool for whoever wants to participate, just a way to...uh...back popo..your dog for some extra money, winner take all, otherwise... popo. Not everyone has to participate, but if you don't, and your dog wins, you don't get the option money.

In the Calcutta every dog will be "bought", if not by an individual, by the pen.

I know what the option and Calcutta is for, but have never seen a baying that had both! It either has one or the other!

I don't know. Maybe just trying to give people a chance to win more money.

only the dog owner can buy in on the option and have aa payback having a option and calcutta give someone who is not running a dog or even someone who is a chance to get in on the action of any dog of there choosing if that makes sense and the calcutta is 100% payback the pen keeps none 70% to the entry winner and the other 30% will go to the high point dog of the bay

you can run one dog as many times as you would like in the two dog as long as theres a different dog with that dog each entry and you would have to pick the run you would like to count as your high point run and dont forget we will be GIVING AWAY a TWO HOLE DIAMOND PLATE DOG BOX and many more door prizes hope to see everybody out for a good time we worked til about two this morning finishing everything up gonna work some hogs today ill let everybody know how it goes

Question about puppy bay. Actually a couple.

1. Can you run multiple pups together for seperate scores? How many can you run together?
2. Can you use dummy dogs/pups? I.E. a dog/pup that is not scored but in pen to fire up pups. I havnt heard of this until recently and don't think I like it, but thought I would ask.

no there will be no use of a help dog in the puppy bay but you can run up to two pups in the puppy bay at the same time and they will be judged individually we dubbed all out teeth last night we ran fingers over every tooth no sharp edged completley dubbed we also got some runs in on em and so far there looking like really good hogs i would like to specially thank trapperchick and baby boy curs for all the help last night thank you guys very much and steve anderson and everyone else who showed up and leant a helping  hand

No problem had fun! Can not wait for next weekend! Hog are good bay hogs! Hope see everyone that lives close that bays be there! so ready to bay up some hogs!

Good luck on your baying Cody, I hate that I am going to miss it but my kid will probably only graduate college one time.

Don't mention it Cody, it beat the heck out of staying at home and changing diapers.  I'm looking forward to sat, I think it's is gonna run smoothly and be a blast.

Any cost to watch?

Just got back from visiting the baypen and talking with Cody about the bay on Saturday.  Folks, it looks like it will be really good.  Lots of hard work and planning have gone into this baypen and I can't wait for Saturday.  The hogs look terriffic so bring your dogs and be ready for a great time.

Guys there is no admission charge to come and watch but if your a dogger watching wont be enough bring them dogs out get em in there and see what happens slim thany you it was very good to meet you tonight and i do think that we got some good hogs these dogs r gonna have to bay its gonna be good we've been door breaking the hogs and well youll have to come to see em but i think there the hogs everyone has been wanting to bay on EVERYONE DONT FORGET EVERY PARTICIPANT WILL GET A FREE RAFFLE TICKET FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A TWO HOLE DIAMOND PLATE DOG BOX BRING THE YOUNGENS FOR THE PIG SCRAMBLE THE YOUTH IS THE FUTURE OF THIS SPORT AND IT WILL REST ON THEM ONE DAY IF WE DONT REACH THEM NOW AND TEACH EM ITLL BE TOO LATE looking forward to seeing everybody

Who are the judges going to be?

Frank the hogs are good size here I was there last Saturday working and belle and el Roy didn't catch and you know how gritty they are!

Last boar I caught was 280 and I never hear a bay, when I got the blue was caught getting slung in circles but never let go.

Oh yeah well damn, you should come out there's gonna be some good hogs and dogs there this weekend

   ok so i am coming to this thang . i have looked and looked probably over looking it  but how do you get there ? is it north or south of inst. 20  . i know it's on 271 [ i think ]  give me some good directions . i don't have no gps thingamajig telling me where to turn lol

  don't know lol   i'm coming from canton  i can either take 20 or 64 to the loop depending on just where the pen is  .

i would take 64 to tyler. turn left on the loop and go around to 271. take a left, and the it will be a little over a mile on the right. Right past Koker Tractor. Its .42 tenths of a mile past the gas station with the wataburger in it!

  i'll be there . i don't know about dogs this time gotta count my money , real close to christmas this go round kinda hard to get everything done on a fixed income . but i may go ahead and run my ol walker gyp just to sweeten the pot for the proffesional baypen boys . i just gotta bunch of ol woods dogs right now and they will git on a hogs butt , but have alot of trouble with them looking out wondering why i am not releasing the catchdog lol .

Any dog can be beat on any day weather they are pro or not! I seen some pro dogs get beat by some dogs that have never been in a competition pen before! You never know till you try!

I have never been to a comp before, nor have my pups, but I figure what the hell.  I am gonna make it a first for both me and my pups tomorrow.  Please come up and say hi, I would sure like to meet a few of ya and sho the breeze.

  well i made just made it home from the baying and i have got to give it a two thumbs up . i had a great time seen a few familier faces and met some new ones . if your in to baying dogs you should love the set up , had some really good hogs to work .  seen alot of good dogs with alot of action from the hogs lol. gonna have to put some padding on the pen walls cause them hogs cody got don't mind showing a dog a little air time  lol . ya'll check it out you won't be sorry you did . i'll be taking a couple ol potlickin cur dogs to the next one for sure .

Well just made it home and fixen to take a shower! Had a great time at the baying today! Cody, y'all have a great set up! Mr. Witten and slim, it was nice to meet and talk to y'all! I enjoyed every bit of it and maybe next time me and my wife's pot lockers will do a little better!

Cody had a blast can't wait for the next one! Got see some bay pen friends that we have not seen in a while! Keep up the good work!

It turned out real nice Cody.  I think the two boys I brought bragged about the pig scramble all the way til bedtime!
