It was still in velvet and was aged at 6 1/2 it didnt have any nuts I was all ways told that if they didnt have nuts they stay in velvet and they dont loose there horns the.base on the horns was 5 1/2 (http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/12/13/apa7y4ys.jpg)

Killed a decent 5 pt. On Thanksgiving a few years back in the same field in velvet too. GW said it was likely a genetic disorder where the nuts never developed.
