Well who is it going to be national champs?  I don't think nd has a chance. They nearly got and should have been beat by 3 unranked teams. Guess that is the plus to being independent conference.  Alabama played soe durn good teams and won and their one loss to the aggies was a heck of a game.  I pick alabama all the way.

I'm pulling for Alabama. I know the rest of the country is tired of seeing SEC teams playing for the championship but , hey.....................

ND wont let me score more then 21 points the whole game! I think its gonna be big shockin suprise to all you roll on tide fan's its ND year they have been solid all year they dont make mistakes and defense win championships and they have not allowed a team to average 17 point in a whole game on em all year! So i am with the LUCK OF THE IRISH!

Sounds to me like you haven't watched the Irish  play all year cause there defense is solid as it comes we will see soon enough how things work for cause if the aggies can shut that boy down i don't think ND will have a problem at all! The stats speak for them self we will see come game day!

All I am saying is defense is gonna win this national championship mark my word this will be a low scoring game!

Answer me this besides oklahoma who I don't think is that good anyways who has nd played that was worth a durn.  Also look at their near losses.  Yes their defence is strong but you have to be able to play both sides of the ball.  Alabama has played several ranked teams and done well on both sides of the ball aTm would walk all over ND.  There is no way ND could keep up with  aggies QB. Nd has never faced a offense like what the aggies have and it would give them fits that is why they beat alabama.  Personally where the aggies are at now they can't be beat they have settled down into football and are just flat out good.  I like ND school history but honestly they are not as good as their record shows imo.  Wish strength of schedule was higher on the ranking than it is.

i bet when the game is over the ND fans have a disgusted look on their face and be crying when they come off the field. i dont think its even going to be a close game

im afraid ND is in fora heck of a ride,i dont like NDorUSC because thats all you hear about is how good USC and there quarterback and how good ND one defensive player is! the one or two games i watched ND play if it hadent been for the refs they would have lost. Bama will be hard to handel those boys had a terrible scedule and are beat up,after this long rest they should be good and rested.They should be good and ready for ND wouldnt surprise me if it wasnt a repete of last year. i think LSU,GEORGA AND THE GAME COCKS could beat ND. i think you will see some lopsided refering they dont seem to want BAMA to win. I'm still undecided on my pic.  After the Gators, i am a SEC fan.  And, even though i despise Saben, i will be pulling for BAMA.  ND is for real, though.  They have defense and a running game and thats what wins championships at ANY level of the game.  I do think it will be closer than some may think

We will see all bama has is a running game thats where they better have someone blocking that linebacker or he him self will win that football game by stopping the run! Oklahoma is good folks they only got beat by 2 teams that at some point in the year were ranked number 1 in the nation! Your argument doesn't add up. You say ND's opponants have averaged 17 pts per game. Alabama's have scored 10.6 ppg and many of those points were on our 3rd & 4th string. Defense wins championships isn't a good arguement as to why ND is gonna win. And of course I'm gonna pull the We play in the SEC card. I'm not saying ND isn't good. I'm just saying Alabama can handle their business.

I think its going to be a defensive battle low scoring close game.  I like watching teams with high flying offence just more fun to watch to me.  Bama has played a few better teams in there schedule than ND did in theres but i dont thinkt hey have played a defence anything like ND. Should be a good game.

Tell me! who all did the aggies get beat by 4 different teams or something like that and they still beat alabama! Yep aggies lost 2 and has one of the best offenses in football. Alabama is solid all around and I think they will wear nd out.  First half low scoring second half tide is going role.  Honestly imo it should be aggies and nd and man that would be cool you would really see nds defense get scrambled.

I dont see how you can say the Aggies should be playing in the big one????  I am glad to see them in the SEC, at first i admit i didnt think they needed any more teams...but atleast one out of the two turned out!  The SEC is the closest competition to the NFL IMO.  Any given saterday, any team can win in a SEC battle.

The Gators beat A&M and LSU...lost to Georgia, and Georgia should have beat Bama (lil brain fart at the end).  I dont think florida is the second or third best team in the country, but their schedual speaks for its self...That being said, ND deserves to be there!  And lets face it, everyone else in the country not in the SE is tired of seeing the SEC collect trophies rolleyes

Let me resay this it would be neat if they were. I think they are top couple I not the best team in bcs right now.  They didn't truly settle down to the style of run scramble till after the lsu game if they would have tried to play the same way against bama as they did lsu they would have been beat. This is my thoughts is aggies and bama are the two strongest teams in college football going into bowl games.  Nd is good at old school football but would not hold a chance against aggies offense and nds true strength is their defense not their offense.

I am fed up with the news media going nuts over ND. They are televised every week on TV which is an unfair recruiting advantage in my book. AND, they get by with murder on infractions and nothing is ever done.

Tio is not even as good of a defensive player as Demontre Moore (94) for the aggies. Several players in the SEC are better than he is.

I hope BAMA does  an absolute number on thm.

Not gonna pick a winner but goin to throw my two cents in which don't mean nothing. If there is a lot better defensive players the te'o then they should have made more tackles and picked the ball off more times. He recieved 8 defensive awards. I'm pretty sure there is a reason he's got all these. People are not giving notre dame any credit. They are there for a reason it's not just because are undefeated I have seen a lot of undefeated teams not play in the show! ND defense is best in the NATION in scoring points and 3rd in the NATION in overall defense an best in the NATION inside the red zone. Te'o is not the only player on that defense their front seven are damn good. Alabama is good and has two great running backs! It's going to be a good game! Alabama won't win by 21 I don't think but will be a damn good national championship game!

Heck L.S.U. Beat Al. on paper and on the field. Everyone could see that. Still think they can beat ND and bad too.

what i got dont like is how the sports channels dont have much to say about any of the top sec teams and i feel like its unfair how the refs have kind of a double standard when it comes to ND heck i was rooting for georgia when they played bama you could see the bulldogs practicaly tackling the bama def. and they wouldnt throw a flag. i would just like to see a fair game were the refs. didnt help ND sence its for all the marbels mabe we will. if im remembering right stanford had ND beat until a ref threw a flag and give them a fresh set of downs.THEREFS SHOULD NOT DECIDE WHO WINS A CLOSE GAME

Its always the refs fault i dont care if some blows someone out of the water on the score board someone will say few bad calls thrown that would have been the difference in the game! if ND does actually win all we will hear is its all because the refs fault or luck or blah blah blah other the the IRISH IS GOOD thats why they are playing in the national championship against BAMA its the best 2 teams in college football that why they are there! I hope for a good game to watch i know is will be good one! Good luck tide

i knew it wasnt even going to be close enough to even be a interesting game. i know alabama will be back at the bcs next year i just hope its another team from the sec facing them so atleast it will be interesting to watch
