Well my tennis shoes are probably the lightest tennis shoes I've ever had, and they provide great ankle support. I have worn them for jogging and to work an occasionally while working w the dogs- they have held up great so far! I have only had them for about 4-5 months though. Hope that helps!

Still I good shape! Also my cousin has a pape of their hiking boots, and he's an emt and he says he loves em!
