Title: Good Morning Hunt with Newbies!!! Post by: setxhogdogs on January 24, 2013, 01:33:22 pm My new yellow gyp went 260 and bayed this hog sent in one more bay dog..old Marley...and then sent in Baby Girl my little catch gyp!! She detonated on that ear and sealed the deal!! I legged the hog and had him hobbled by 8:30 this morning!! Later I turned out my two old catahoulas and old Hoss went 800 and bayed solid!! I fed him some help and the stopped him again at 3/4 of a mile!! Tried to get close with the catch dog but no luck!! Cut one of my old catahoulas and he was out of the race!! Old hoss ran him 4 miles and I finally cut him off on a road!!! So one hog caught and one got away!! Good morning hunt!! Oh yeah I had two young men with me that this was there first hog!! Needless to say they are HOOKED!!!

Ole yeller dog found a hog ! :o Sounds like those leopard dogs are doing more than they used to on runnin a hog ! I'm glad the're workin out for ya .. Just out of curosity how old are those catahoula male dogs now?
