Title: A good sounding race! Post by: 7Mhunter on January 27, 2013, 06:00:30 pm Last night i talked my dad into going coon hunting with me so i take my 2 yr old walker gyp and my 7 month old walker male and he said grab my gyp which is 3/4 cur 1/4 running walker when we got there we dropped the dogs get right about my deer stand and the only garmin collar i have was on my gyp looked at the garmin and it said 400+ yds and was running by then we headed to get closer to them and still running finally they was about on the edge of the farm market rd the garmin says treed so we headed to them and we get 60yds from them and we can smell a boar hog we finally get to them and climb up on a log to look down into the thicket and still cant see the hog and ended up shooting him since we had no bull dog but my ole hounds put on a show and a wonderful sounding race my 7 month old pup echo drownded them all out ....... So i guess i have no more treeing walkers there now baying walkers so if yall know anyone with a good coon dog (no puppys) for sale let me know!
