Title: Looking for Advice!! Post by: setxhogdogs on January 28, 2013, 06:00:29 pm One of my main strikes got cut Saturday last Monday under the back leg near his groin!! I cleaned the wound and applied antiseptic and disinfectant...then sprayed cut heal!! I gave 2 cc of penicillin and have cleaned the wound daily and applied cut heal!! He is favoring the leg and its slightly swollen all around! The cut seems to be healing and closing up...no real redness....and it doesn't look infected!! Just wondering if the limping and swelling is normal a week later! What do y'all think??

Title: Re: Looking for Advice!! Post by: junebug on January 28, 2013, 07:08:54 pm My catch dog got cutt up on the chest several months back and it took him nearly a month to fet healed up good about three weeks to get around normal. If your keeping it clean and all doctored up he will be fine
