Title: need help with a sportdog system. Post by: rdjustham on February 02, 2013, 08:26:50 pm Buddy of mine gave me a sportdog sporthunter 1800 system with two collars because it wasnt working. No idea on how old it is, ive got the chargers and the whole nine yards. I put the test light on it and tried all the buttons and it seems the collars and transmitter arent talking. i tried reprogramming the collars (based on what i found on the net) and i still cant get them to work. Is there a way to reset the hand held, check the hand held? Anybody got any ideas short of calling the maufacturer and sending it back?
Title: Re: need help with a sportdog system. Post by: Jared H. on February 03, 2013, 06:00:05 am My sport dog 1825 was doing the same thing. Ended up replacing the battery in the transmitter and that fixed it. Not sure that's the issue with yours but maybe.
