Just read Charles's birthday post and it got me to ponderin.
Guess I was thinkin Charles was older ? So who all on here is over 40 ?
I am 43 I believe, but I dont physically feel like it, not like my 20's but nowdays these kids cant keep up wit me anyhow ! Who on here is older and wiser ?

thats how it works jdt. awhile back my daughter called to tell me Im gona be a grandpa, and I thot good god, I better start actin like a grown up before she has it !

Just curious as to why u thought i was a lot older? I didnt take ur comment wrong or mad, just curious as to how u came to the conclusion i was older, we never talked, atleast not that im aware of. Again no disrespect taken or casted towards u.

I'm not certain Charles, I believe your a veteran ? I was thinking your retired ? These may not be correct, I dont normally talk to to many people, kinda just browse thru most of the time. May have been something I read, Im not sure . Sometimes I'm just a walking brain fart ! I believe youve always kinda steered clear of alot of the drama, maybe thats why I thought that ? At any rate from yur list of injuries I can see youve done yur share of work and livin . I hope yur not feelin old or anything, I certainley wasnt implying anything either way.
When I was your age I felt alot worse than I do now in my 40's. That post about age was about me wonderin if I'm one of the older guys on here. A reality check for myself !

Charles, something Ive noticed about forums is that if you read peoples posts, different conversations without actually speaking verbally, its very easy to picture ghings differently than they are. Kinda like reading Where the Red Fern grows and then watching the movie, yur thinking thats not how I pictured it !

Vet, yes. Retired, no. I was medicaly discharged for back, knee and anti social behavior. As to drama, i deal with enuf of that at work with folks who r supose to b proffecional $80 mill helicoter mech, but they worry to much about xbox n cars to worry bout doin maint right, so yea i try to steer clear

43 here as well...and Charles...I thought you were older as well. I think you carry an attitude/way of thinking that is more mature than your years. Not a bit wrong with that....just rare for your age.

mrs louisiana, ya we'll accept that, yur welcome in the elderly group. I felt that wat too in my 30's. Think it was stress from raising kids and workin to much. Their all grown and out now and I dont work quite as much as I used to.Im feelin good now !

I am 57...I am getting on up there...I. know I am because I can't tell the difference between an eighth grader and a senior in high school...and most doctors and dentist look like they should still be in school...heck...even the president of the USA looks young to me...

I remenber my kids playing ball and all there friends and the kids I coached...and lots of them are now leaders or journymen in their professions...

 well let's just say when i was a young man led zepplin's stairway to heaven was played on the rock stations now it's  played on the oldie's but goodie's station  lol

50 in April. Felt like I could do anything till I took a spill off a ladder and broke and separated all sorts of chit. Hard to keep up with the younger guys but I manage.

halfbreed yur makin me feel real good ! when I was a teen it was musclecars and rock n roll, we listened to stairway to heaven and it was already considered classic rock . That was in the mid 80's !

I can remember listening to radio programs like the Lone Ranger and Sgt. Preston of the Yukon before we had TV. The first cooling in the house was a water cooler and it felt good at the time. Before I got a drivers license and wanted to to town and visit friends on Saturday, I rode a horse. I can remember my folks talking about Elvis and what a good voice he had if he would just settle down and sing. I am 66.

Im kinda lost, must be the blond roots comin through or wrong meds, but include well aged on what or who? I found out abruptly stopin my medication has adverse effect  ;D

39 really starting to feel all the hard playing I did.   I can't run more than 30 feet, but out walk most kids all day still.   Had a lot of old men tell me to slow down I would regret it one day! Well they were rite.   Always figured I could sleep when I was old, guess that isn't going to happen, too many years of not sleeping became a habit.  I can sure tell I'm not in 20's anymore.    If I make it to be old it's going to hurt!   lol

Just made 41, and am beginning to feel every colt, and bronc I got ejected from in my younger years! Hangovers hurting a lot worse too, lol.

Just tuned 48 in october. Hunt with a 25 year old that is pretty gritty. Last year we hunted 41 nites and days from Feb. 25 to April 15 and still did my regular job monday thru friday. That hurt.

42 yrs old , broke my pelvis a few yrs back in five place which slowed me down a step or two but still can make it to the bay LOL

Monty what sucks is when you act 25 your 40 yr old body pays for it alot longer...

I'm 62, still hunting one or two  days a week.  Can't run too far, but can walk at a good clip all day.  Have to wait on the younger guys sometimes.
