Title: Very fast hunt, little brothers first hog! Post by: AnotherRunner on February 21, 2013, 08:58:07 pm So my cousin called me this evening after the rain fizzled out and asked if I would want to make a quick hunt this evening. I told him sure I'm always game and my 11 year old bro wanted to go with me. Got the dogs loaded up and headed back into the lease to a spot I knew was holding hogs. After we crossed a small slough a ways before the thicket where I wanted to go my cousin said we should just let the dogs out here and I agreed. No sooner than the dogs touched the ground all five of the dogs shot into the left side of the woods (including the CD which managed to escape haha) we sat there for about 2 minutes and all we heard was a caught pig squealing. Took off in there with my brother right behind me! I legged him and my brother was a bit leery but got in there and helped! My bro's first little sow 50#s!
