I tend to peddle a lot of stuff on Craigslist to make some extra cash. I work at a body shop, so I mostly sell a lot of car parts that I acquire through work. But I think I may be about done.

Someone just called me at 11freakin30 asking about a bumper I have for sale. Normally I won't answer a call that late, but I just got a new phone yesterday and don't have all my contacts swapped over and I thought the number looked familiar but I was wrong.

What on God's green earth would make someone think it is okay to call someone at 11:30 at night? Man I wish I could beat some people with a rubber hose!!

Here is exactly how the call went.
Me "hello"
Them "Hey I was callin bout that challenger bumper you have for sale. How much will you take for it?"
Me "what does it sayin the ad, I don't remember"
Them"it says your asking 300"
Me "okay, I'll take 400 for it."
Them "but your ad says 300"
Me "yes it does, but you called me at 11fn30 at night so the price just went up you dumb mother$&:)(;"

They hung up after that. Good gravy, had they called me during some normal hours I would've let it go for less. I couldn't imagine calling someone at that hour for anything less than an emergency. Once again, a good beats with a rubber hose!!

Sorry for a more or less pointless post, but that just really chapped my ass and I needed to vent!

lol i know how u feel :D.. i hate geting a call or text from someone really late thats trying to buy something .. i resale alot of my dads old vehicle parts and stuff like that to. but maby that was the only time he could get ahold of u because of his job? i dont know but it really is unconvient for u i know that.

Talking car parts, I'm looking for a 950HP Carb or a 1050 Dominator..  Just throwing it out there if you have one??

As someone who makes a living on an ambulance, trust me, there are A LOT of people who's day starts about 2 pm and ends about 5 am.  11:30 is just mid afternoon for them.  They sleep all day and do god knows what all night.

I used work nights, spent many of years in a country on the other side of the world, where day there is nite where im at n vise versa. COMMON sence should prevail when the thought callin in the mid of the night because there are more folks that DONT work nites than those that do. Wouldnt the smarter thing do, is call around 7-9pm and 7-9am? It cant be that difficult to use common sence, thats if the person had to start out with

Are you sure the caller did not say he was the exiled Prince of of Nangoonia of Liberia and wanted the bumper shipper to Nigeria in exchange for a cerified check for $10 million?

i have been scoulded for sending a text at 1030PM and to me that aint late enough to be pissy about but hell idk. i guess 1030 is late for some folks hell i aint even left to go huntin by then some times
