I think i woulda used the modern world of electronics and the fabulous internet. There is a site called GOOGLE, which did reveal the answer, but dang if i can remeber how to post the link or info. If so just flip the toggle switch down and hold the button on the collar down until it beeps then hold them side by side . I think that's how I did mine . But I can't get mine to add the third collar yet and I've got the owners guide.
