Title: Carlos gave me a scare lol Post by: Boardog on July 09, 2009, 01:54:07 pm Well i caught a boar that weighed about 250lbs and had about 2 1/2- 3in teeth a few weeks back and about a week ago i turned him into a barrow and put him out on a place. We ended up naming him carlos and he can only see outa one eye. Well the other day we caught a small boar and yesterday went to go barrow him and put him in the same place carlos is and as we pulled up to a tank we saw somthing black laying in the edge of the water on the other side and my buddy says thats carlos i think hes dead and we were like aw crap. So i started walking up to him and got about 10 yards away when my buddy threw a rock at him to make sure he was dead and sure enough he wasnt ;D and the sucker stood up :o and gave us the evil eye then just walked off. It dang sure puckered up my butthole ;D. Made me think twice on walkin up to a hog that i aint sure is dead. After the scare we cut the pig now known as eddie :D and let him join carlos.

Yea, hogs tend to get into some deep sleeps, and it is sometimes hard to wake them. We raise show pigs for 7 years, and you could pick up the babies and shake them like a rag doll cause they were in such a deep sleep. I guess Ole Carlos made you think twice before just walking up to him next time!
