Title: quit a bay Post by: gcarmouc001 on April 28, 2013, 08:08:24 pm Have u guys ever had dogs quit baying? Dogs struck today and as i was going to them they quit barking, so i figured they were trashing. But as i got closer to them i could hear grunting but no baying. So i kept walking and there is a monster boar standing in the thickeds and the dogs were'nt baying just sitting down looking at him. I ve caught many hogs behind these same dogs. Any advice?

Hate to hurt your feelings but top dogs will bay the bad ones as well as the easy ones. Unless the dogs were to hot to bark & burned out, there is no excuse for a dog to quit while the hog is still there. jmo
