Title: Hunting at night Post by: Cooter56 on May 18, 2013, 08:07:20 am Two of my dogs, one being a puppy and one being my main strike dog will not hunt at night. During the day they will leave the road no problem and find hogs. But at night they want to stay at the truck or if your walking they want to stay under your feet. Any suggestions on fixing this or what it might be? Are they scared of the dark? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Put them on the ground bout sunset and let them hunt into the night with dogs that will hunt at night. Second would be get some glow sticks and fasten to collars. A glow stick would be kinda like giving it its own flashlight. It is possible the old dog has trouble seeing at night and a glow stick could help. I figure the pup is queing off the old dog.
