Title: Gyp in heat question
Post by: Curcross1987 on June 21, 2013, 12:36:31 am
Ok I have a 7 year old gyp I noticed she had dropped two spots of blood in her pen Tuesday. I have always been told that a gyp has 7 days coming in 7 days of standing heat and 7 days going out is this right or wrong? Thanks for the help

I go by the above statement Reuben made. To add to it, I put them together on the 11th day, skip a day,
put them back together on the 13th day, skip a day, and put them back together for a final time on
the 15th day.

My female just took on her 8th,10th, 12th days of her heat.
All dogs are different..I had this same bitch go in and out of heat last time all with 12days.

that's a good graph...but I think that is the overall average for all female dogs and it could vary slightly for some females...
