I haven't always had a bunch of land to hunt.  I recently got access to around 5000 acres to runs. About 1000 acres are crops.  I haven't ever had to push my dogs this hard.
  Just wondering how many times a week I can hunt them without burning them up? Or is this just something I keep an eye out for them being to fatigued. 

Their are certainly many variables; terrain, length of hunt, number of hogs caught, ect. Etc.  I try not to hunt mine over twice a week, sometime I exceed that.  I have also started hunting two separate packs with 2 to 4 strike dogs in each. 

The more hog tracks you feed em, the better they will be. Hunt em as much as you can.

You'll know they're wore out when they bay a boar in his bed, and instead of baying him, they lay down beside him and go to sleep.

  lol yeah what ba said .  when I was running the land for the farmers I ran 7 days a week and didn't let up till the dogs started growling at me for dragging them out of their dog boxes .  them was the curs , so I put a little ol hound dog blood in them and started hunting 7 days a week sometimes twice a day . if your hunting around crop lands I assume you are to prevent damage so I suggest you hit it and hit it hard to keep the place . don't worry about running out of hogs they will return the minute you slack off  .

Ive been hunting them 4 times a week.  One gype blew her pads out in two days. So they are getting on plenty of tracks.  Im starting a few new dogs also to try and have more dogs to run a second pack. The young dogs are only 6 months old but are doing good .

Back before I had a a family to take care of and was only responsible for myself and had a full time job requiring overtime we used to work just to pay for our hunting habits lol and we would hunt at least 5 days a week, I can remember multiple nights when I was younger (18-20) where we would get off work, go hunt all night and I would leave the woods the next morning and go straight to work, dogs and all..........sometimes I miss those days but then I remember how much I like sleeping  :D

 Just watch your dogs closely, they will let you know when they are done. I am willing to bet you good money though that the guys who continually place well in the hog dog competitions year in and year out and who work cattle for a living work their dogs daily.... winter summer spring and fall, all year. There are a few guys in my area that use their stock dogs just about everyday to work and catch cattle and the dogs are no joke......it all boils down to conditioning in my opinion, a pro baseball player can get up and play multiple games a week without many issues but throw your average desk jockey out there and see how well he fares by the 4th or 5th game in a week period......I think it works the same way regarding dogs.

I have been running fields 3 or 4 times a week with no ill effects. My buddy I hunt with runs 6 or 7 days a week. He will just rotate dogs around. If one looks stove up too bad he will get a night off. Lol

We been huntin same dogs 3-4 times a week, early in the morning or after dark. My buddy had one get alittle hot last night, nothin to extreme though.

I expect the dogs to work as hard as I do. I work 5 days a week in the elements, so they ought to be able to outdo this fat boy!
I don't get to hunt that much this year, so when I do go, they had better give it their all. As an old coach of mine used to say, "boys, y'all better just keep runnin till I throw up!"
