Title: 350 pound Barr Hog Post by: Logan-99 on August 18, 2013, 06:13:26 pm Loaded 3 dogs up one wind dog and two catchdogs on the wheeler, get to the place and the wind dog jumps off and dead sprints to a wood line and bays loose, he usually catches anything 100 and under, so we knew it was a good hog. We send my catchdog and my buddies catchdog in and they hit. The hog made NO noise at all. We heard brush moving and youpons breaking so we ran in some real thick stuff 30 yards away and when we got there we were shocked. He was running through brush dragging the CDs and two of my friends grabbed his legs. One is a 6' 2" 200 lb guy and they were getting dragged by the hog. We decided to stab it and we cut the throat and stabbed and he still tried getting up for a few long minutes. Eventually he layed over and gave it up. Only one dog got just a poke. His cutters were 1.5". It was one for the record books. Weighed him the next morning dead and scale said 325. He had to have been 350 alive.
