Title: Re: Buddy Dunlap , oklahoma Post by: Caseydejohn on September 16, 2013, 05:55:10 pm He might have a good dog there but make his old ass show the dog that day. He's a dog peddler and will lie to you. Made the trip up there to look at a dog a few years back. He said he was selling out. Got there and he came up with every excuse in the book on why he couldn't show the dog hunt and gave me a trial. I took the dog back, and he was selling out alright. Every dog he had the first time I was there was gone and new dogs were standing on their chains. He did give me my 1000$ back though...

Sorry to hear about that but at least you got your money back. Title: Re: Buddy Dunlap , oklahoma Post by: BOBDOG on September 17, 2013, 11:51:34 am Very knowledgeable old man. As hillbilly as they come. He has some good dogs for sale but..... Make him show you. Unless things have changed he has access to thousands and thousands of acres of timber company land. in the kiamichi mountains. It is like stepping back on time.
I road those old loggin roads with him and the most versatile cur dog I have ever seen. Of course he was not for sale. Title: Re: Buddy Dunlap , oklahoma Post by: Cajun on September 17, 2013, 01:03:42 pm He has run ads in full Cry for at least the last 20-25 years for hogdogs & if memory serves me right he used to offer a trial but other then that, dont know anything about him.
Title: Re: Buddy Dunlap , oklahoma Post by: BOBDOG on September 17, 2013, 02:59:15 pm Lol yea "buy a dog from me, it'll keep your chin greasy" Was one of the things he use to say. He must be getting up there in age. He was not young when I met him 20 some odd years ago.
