Title: good hunt with lionandboarhunter Post by: txmaverick on August 11, 2009, 06:31:14 pm I have known JP since he was a kid and hunted with him since he was 13 yrs old. We lost contact when we moved from Utopia but he called and invited me on a hunt last night.
Had a great time, killed 4 hogs in 3 hrs. One boar, 2 nice sows and a pig. When we got to the main house on the ranch there was a boar about 100yds from us. He stayed there and ate corn the whole time we geared up and unloaded. He stayed at the feeder until JP was about 35 yrds from him. Needless to say he got flat footed and streached in about 100 yds. Even with breaking a belt on the UTV it was a great hunt. Nice to watch a young man over 14 yrs become a man and see him develope his own bloodlines. Sure makes me feel old.
