Title: Re: What to use for a drag Post by: halfbreed on December 25, 2013, 08:57:44 am I prefer the hog hide drag or a back leg below the hock that doesn't get processed . a good hog will get you enough hide to make many drags with I will cut it in sections about 1' x 2' and roll them up and put in the freezer in plastic bags . carry a cooler with ice in it and when done laying the drag put the hide in ice and back to the freezer when done . it will last for many drags that way . now I am fixing to harness break one of my pot belly pigs and just lead it through the woods where I will have a wild shoat caged out lol .

U can still hav a live pig at the end, trailer it to where u want it n then pull the drag back n then turn the pups loose Title: Re: What to use for a drag Post by: halfbreed on December 25, 2013, 05:02:27 pm pull the drag towards where the shoat is , or else you'll teach the dogs to start back tracking .
