Title: Above ground kennels Lets see them Post by: redtick23 on December 29, 2013, 10:10:17 pm I am looking for some ideas to use to build a set of above ground kennels , so I would like to see some pics of them that yall have .

(http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx164/JMkennels/20120616_160256_zps6ffabd04.jpg) Title: Re: Above ground kennels Lets see them Post by: ChanceandAnita on December 30, 2013, 10:11:54 pm I built mine with the floor 2 ft off the ground the whole thing is 16 ft long I used 4x4 wood post 8ft long for legs used 2x4 for frame work made 4 pens they are 4 ft wide 8 ft long I put tin on the roof and the back side I put 2x4 horse wire for deviders and for the front I used 2x10 for the floor with bout 1 1/2 inch space between them then took rubber mats and skewed it to the floor I left bout a foot at back of the pen with out the mat so it is easy to wash out works great but when it rains the doors swell and makes it a little hard to open and close them
