If I ran RCD's I'd go with males. Usually bigger/stronger.

The right dog will make you not care.  It's hard enough culling through all the junk to get a decent dog, so if one is hunting and producing hogs consistently, then for me it doesn't make much of a difference.

hunt what fits you , and helps your dogs catch hogs.  males are great , but don't count the girls out. i've seen some bad bi*ch's

Gyps/females 100%.  Except for the bulldog- I like males only.

I prefer gyps myself. Don't really know why just like them better. Plus you can find a good male to breed to but not always a good gyp.

Yea I bought a cat-pit gyp today. Reason I went this way cause the guy saleing her seemed pretty honest. Figured I take advice from someone that I thought new his stuff on how the pups been acting. I was told she was more outgoing seemed to range out further then the male. I hope she turns out. I will post pics tomorrow.

females are typically lighter and faster as long as that dog is at least fifty pounds and you have more dogs to back her up effectively you should be fine.

i dont see any difference bitches or dogs, i run bitches for the same reason as someone said above its alot easyier to find a good dog to breed to your good bitch then the other way around an i think they r cleaner not trying to piss on your tires. only down side is u cant hunt with other people when they come into heat,

Dont really matter to me either way. Im not a dog breeder at all, I just don't breed dogs ever. So usually when I have a gyp I really like a and am keeping I get her spayed so I don't have to deal with them being in heat and leaving them at home. That's the only draw back to ME of having a female.
