Title: 2 Hunts This Week, 43 Hogs Post by: Stanton on February 16, 2014, 01:37:30 pm Shane and I made a hunt with our cousin on a new place on Tuesday. Despite the weather, 35 and raining, we managed to put hands on 21hogs, 9 of which were grown. 1 decent boar. The best hunt I've had been in till yesterday. I didn't take very many pictures with the rain and mud.

On Saturday, Shane, Jeremy, Justin, and I made a round. We started at 8am and hunted till 3pm. It was wide open the entire time. The dogs, mud, hogs, and briars nearly worked me down. We ended up with 22. 17 grown hog. 5 decent boars over 180lbs and a 240lb barr. Had one bay on the day that the bulldog was needed on a lil boar. I wish I would have had someone to take pictures or film behind me this week. I think the dogs did exceptionally well to have been penned up for 3 months.
