Will it kill her? I just got her and wanna treat for heart worms!!
Can I do it or will it kill her if she is heart worm positive ?

If she already has heart worms it'll kill her. You have to get tested. If she doesn't you could use it for a preventative once a month.

It won't kill your dog. U can't "treat" heartworms at home. You can only prevent. .10 cc per 10 lb of body weight. It's not recommended to give any dog that is heartworm positive a preventative but that being said ivermectin which is n heartguard is given to dogs that is heartworm positive dogs to people who can't or won't afford the treatment.  Heartworms will die of old age.

I have a dog that has heart worms and I give to her she is fine actually she has gotten better on imvec vs triheart I would just watch the amout very close

A one year old dog will not have heart worms bad enough to kill it if treated!! Ivermectin will not kill the heart worm either it will kill the larva!!

Thanks fellas... She is doing good! I put her on her first hog yesterday and she acted like she had done it before
