Been looking at some of the other forums that offer dogs and other things for sale and even this one before the comment option was taken away. (Best thing ever).

I can never understand the sole comment from a buyer......I want Him........Mmmmmm.....Now what ????

Are you waiting on the seller to say something ingenious like ...OK?

Try whipping out a phone and using that long lost art of....voice communication. Seller doesn't need to know why your buying...just needs to know if your able and willing to buy.

This post is actually just for sport ..

Want to hear the other one liners that are dead end statements that require....ignoring or furtther prompt...to be able.to figure what their trying to get across.

Shoot my pet peeve is that you can't post a picture of a good looking dog or pup just to show off a bit with out getting "how much?"

Even once you answer, "not for sale" you'll get 9 other people asking "how much"

Was GIVING a dog away that was started and was asked if I would guarantee would the dog.

About once a fortnight we get someone wanting us to export dogs back to the US rolleyes rolleyes, most people who ask are from Texas?   ;D

I wonder if its stupidity, laziness or just don't give a chit bout reading the entire post that causes them to ask ?s that were answered if they woulda just read the post in its entirety. im thinkin on the don't give a chit to read.

another 1. you put the location and they still ask where you located, or what town is it located near. how bout google maps, it works fine and gives time and distance from their location. 

or you put a time frame in the post and still get idiots trying to make contact after hrs. again, cant or wont read the entire post.

Well dipchit had you read the ad, the last line says where it is located. I see this one on a daily basis in all the group for sale pages on FB.

The one that chaps me when I am trying to sell anything, I always put "call me" and leave my phone #   then of course my texts starts blowing up.  Hey people I said call me not text me. I can answer more in a 30 second phone call than I can in ten texts and this drives me crazy.

Then everyone starts saying they want him and to hold him....on the other poor guys post. Haha :laugh:

I raise all of my dogs so this has not happened to me, but have heard of this happening on multiple occasions.

Was trying to give a dog away guy txt and ask if I would meet him bout 200 miles away!! Lol

About two years ago I picked up three dogs that had been dumped a few days prior in the country near my house.  One was a boxer I ended up giving away, another a lab x ridgeback that we ended up keeping as a pet dog and the third a catahoula x ridgeback.  I worked the catahoula (female) in the pen a couple of times just for kicks and she would bay the hair off a hog.  I put her on the dog trade FOR FREE.  Here's what happened:

I probably had 10 phone calls and more texts than that.  Here's a few of the correspondences.


1)  Where are you located?  -- The Ad SPECIFICALLY said NEAR TEMPLE.  Then they ask how far is that from _______?  What...Do they not make freaking maps anymore?!?!

2)  How much are you asking?  REALLY?  The Title to the posting AND ad say "FREE DOG"

3)  Are you willing to meet?  SERIOUSLY?? For a dog I'm giving away??  Yes I'll meet...how about the convenience store about a mile from my house.

4)  Will she find her own hog?  Got to be kidding....This one came from a number in the 903 area code.  This same number called me twice and both times said he was from a different area....first time he said around Canton, then he said near Buffalo.

5)  How old is she?  Again...I found the damn dog on the highway.  I keep asking her age in addition to her name, but she seems pretty tight lipped and is not giving up a whole lot of info.

6)  How long have you had her?  Umm...again, I found her on the road a few weeks ago.  Still trying to figure out the relivance of that question.

7)  Why are you getting rid of her.  Uhhh...?

8)  Will you send me some pics?  ...and pics are on my posting.

I even had a guy call me and say, and I quote "Well I want you to hold her for me because I definately want her but just not sure when I can make it down from LUBBOCK (+/- 7 hrs away) to get her...it might be a couple weeks".

After a couple days, that was all I could take.  I removed my ad, and she got a free trip to the pound.

This dog can do anything, cast, road, wind of hood. Can be long but likes to stay around 200 yards out. Has found own. Can strike.can use as a rcd........only asking 100.00 cuz I got too many dogs

Then we go in a match about finding a puppy for that and he says he finds them all the time and im like why are you looking then... then he proceeds to tell me that a Boar is a cut hog and a Barr still has it nuts if I was smart enough I would know that.... I was like you must be DUMB!

I see that all day. After someone posts "dog is gone" atleast four people ask"how much" lol

One of my favorites on people selling dogs...  somewhere in the ad will be " dog has a lot of bottom" and later on " will stop a runner"...

If the dog stops runners, why does it need bottom??  ???
