Michael at hardcore will make it right to but I haven't had to send one back yet he saw the oldest vest I got in a pic and asked me to send it back but I told him it gave the vest character lol we order all ours with 2 layers of Kevlar and have never had to worry and they are super light

My last two have been hardcore and they have done very well.  As far as quality, price, cut through- I have no reason to switch.  Mike also fixed one of my vest and added an extra layer for me.

No sir, I have not but I only run that vest on my bulldog, and my bulldog isn't needed even a 1/4 of the time as my "bay dogs" often decide to handle things themselves  ;D. so far no punctures or cut straps, maybe i've been lucky!

I always hear good things about the P&P but to me they look cumbersome and stiff in all the pics...I like my old wet felt or the uglydog stuff best myself.

My P&P is stiffer... I had 6 layers put in the chest.. The dog I had it made for didnt have any problem moving or loading up in my 6 inch lifted truck with it on..  The last 2 dogs ive ran it on could barely move in it, much less try to jump or run through the woods..

I had a Uglydog guardian and devestator vest, and really liked the mobility of them but they just seemed to fall apart at the seams..

Im looking into the 4R vest now..

I have all hardcore cut gear.  I run the strike vest on my track dogs and the tank on my catch dogs.  I did have a bore cut through the tank a couple weeks ago on my pit cross, but had she not been wearing it, it would have been a bad deal.

Mike said send him the vest that was cut through, and he would fix it.  Top notch people to deal with, and when you order something from them, they ship it fast!

I also run all of his cut collars on my dogs as well.  So far, the cut collars have saved every one of my dogs.

If y'all want light weight cheap summer vest and affordable, we use custom collars and haven't had a single problem with them. Only one poke through was a from a dog plowing into a barbed wire fence.and wev had our vest 5yrs now and all still in top shape.

Here's my 2 cents about cut gear. The truth about cut gear is it's pretty hard for a boar to cut trough gear. 90% of the damage you see done to cut gear is from the top teeth only because the bottom teeth couldn't get into the gear. Get the perfect shaped teeth at the right angle and they will go through almost any gear. Most boars don't have the perfect shaped and angled teeth so most gear never gets a pass through. So next time you look at some gear that has the outside shredded remember it's usually the top teeth doing the damage and making the gear look tougher than it really is.
