Title: Parker/Dogo pics of parents added
Post by: kevin on September 01, 2009, 11:11:03 pm
Mother is a no BS kind of cur dog. A true Hogdog.  Dad is a dogo that has been used as a lone catchdog.   I made the same cross with a gyp off of the mother.   All of the pups that are still alive are working dogs.  They have good winding noses with a lot of go.  More of the busy body brush busting type of dogs.  They all try to wind off the rig too.  These pups are 6 weeks old and belong to a friend of mine.

I don't have any pics of the pups

Mom is by far the HARDEST long range hunting dog i ever seen and though i have not seen the dad in action i know that he is VERY well mannered. If i had the room and was hunting i would be all over a few of these.

It takes a heck of a dog to impress me, but the mother to these pups is one of the hardest hunting, longest range dogs Ive ever hunted behind, hands down. Just thought Id throw in my .02   ;D

Michael, how many you want?  Their just what you need.....you can retire Hollywood.  I'll even throw in a bag of dog food for ya.  ;D

If anyone is interested the price is negotiable....in that I mean FREE.

This cross was unintentional and I do not have room for the pups.

Thanks,
Kevin O.

Well the mother sounds like a parker cur, and if the puppies even have a 1/10 of that drive and hunt, then you won't be able to beat these dogs.  I haven't ever hunted behind either of these dogs, but if the mother has parker blood in her its good enough for me, cuz I've hunted behind a few parker curs and them are true hogdogs.

Not the best pics.  They were taken from my cell phone.  Their all brindle with white masks and white feet or legs.  Some darker brindle than others.

Of the pups that made it out of the last litter of the same cross were they rough as hell or bay dogs?
Matt

Matt, I haven't personally made this cross before nor did I mean to.  Kevin A. on the other hand has crossed a pup off the mother of these pups to his dogo.  I believe the males were strait catch and the females were strait catch until they got cut down then went to baying.

So how many do you want?  ;)   I have 3 females left.  ;D
