I may be in far left field with my thought, but it seems to me its another chance for more anti-gun legislation once an incident happens involing drunks with firearms and a mode of transportation to and from the range.
Again, i may be in left field with my theory, but every bit of this idea screams stupid and an accident waiting to happen.
I also cant believe the tx state alcohol n beverage commission issued a liquior license to a tx gun range and if it required a political vote, how any pro gun politician deviated from their sanity long enough to agree and sign the approval for booze n gun club.

I really can't do anything but shake my head, i'd really like to meet the guy that sat down and said " hey why don't we sell liquor at our gun range, what could go wrong?"

people that do this kinda thing, or attempt to do it, and the people in charge of making sound judgmental decisions on matter such as this and allowing it remind me a song by the bloodhound gang, that has the words "lift your head up high and blow your brains out" in the song. they should take those lyrics to heart and do it

       Second amendment gives you the right and prohibition left a long time ago.  Why should the government get involved ?

I am all for less government, but some things just shouldn't be done.

Driving is legal and drinking is legal but doing them together, not so much. Same thing here IMO. Just my two cents

A person wanna go out on their private property, get tanked up on liquior and/or beer n then wanna sling some some lead, fine, its ur poroperty, if u trip n fall n shoot ur self in the head or thigh n nick the femoral arttery, dang, natural selection.
Why ask for more gov insight from the feds, local n state abc officers, n the local po pos could be waiting for that 1 driver to leave the parking lot aftr havin 1 to many drinks n get popped with a dui n firearms posession. But hey, do what ur payck can afford.

Is it a ploy to shut the gun range down and open a bar?   Surely there is something else in their agenda, I'm all about gun rights, and the right to drink a beer when you want one, but dang, one doesn't have to be a scholar to know that serving alcohol at a gun range is a horrible idea. 

Dude I do everything better when I'm drunk! !! My wife even says I look better when she drinks. Drinks for everyone. ..
