Thats something iv nvr done, bowfishing. I built the deck and rigged a guys boat for bow fishing, but was nvr able to get on the lake with before having to deploy again. Is it the same bow set up for hunting, except a real where the stabe goes? And of course completely different arrows.
Title: Re: Finally connected Post by: 318hand on April 28, 2014, 11:29:51 pm It's the second time I've been my brother bought a boat that's rigged out for it so I will go more now the bow I got is made by a company that makes bow fishin stuff but a few boys I know just use a regular compound bow an put a reel on it I'm new 2 the whole bow fishin thing so i don't know much about it

Arrows are around 12 bucks a piece but last, and a rig is around 150. Just take your bow to bass pro or cabelas and pick you put a rig and they'll get you fixed up and show you how to use it. It's a really good time. I do it a lot in the summer time just walk up and down a river or creek and shoot them from the bank

Seems like crossbow would be hard to use though

I would use a regular bow if you can though, unless you cant draw a bow due to a disability. Would be a pain to load a crossbow and shoot a whole bunch when you get into the fish. Most times for shallow fish I only shoot a 29# bow. |
