Have any of you had any dealings with brother and sister matings, did they make it as hunting dogs are were they just used as breeding stock.

Yes... Many times with bulldogs and terriers. A good hand full of times with curs and hounds.  It can go both ways, need to make sure you start with good to begin with.

I know that they do it with b ulldogs to keep the blood tight.

I agree with goose87 I have four pups from tight breeding and at three months old they are ready to fight everything in the yard.  But they will roll out with the older dogs on mock hunts.

The only thing I'll add to this...as with any breeding, cull the ones that need it

I've been working them in the pen for a while now  they started out slow but man they really have come on strong and look great will try and post a few pics of them
