Title: Stealing dog pics and claiming them as their own? Post by: TChunter on July 23, 2014, 10:46:13 am I can't stand when someone steals my pics of MY dogs and is trying to sell their pups under their own name saying MY dogs are theirs... They are my dang dogs. Why does someone feel they need to do that kind of thing?

Title: Re: Stealing dog pics and claiming them as their own? Post by: Hutch33 on July 23, 2014, 11:16:31 am I've heard more and more about people doing this. Taking pix and saying that have pups out of that dog, they scam to get a deposit from people and then take off. Going to have to start branding pictures you post on the internet too!

And wouldn't you know....I've been told on other sites that since I don't post pics that must mean I'm not a 'real' hunter. :-X Title: Re: Stealing dog pics and claiming them as their own? Title: Re: Stealing dog pics and claiming them as their own? Post by: TChunter on July 26, 2014, 09:02:37 pm Yupp it was my bad. About 2 years back someone asked about two of my bull dogs on here and I couldn't post pics from my phone yet so someone offered to post them for me... Well after researching on how this person got my pics, I realized he's the person who was trying to "help" me post my pics. I won't be doing that again. The idiot found me on fb last week not realizing it was me and saw a dog in my profile pic and started messaging me saying how mine favors his,.. Well he sends a pic and IT'S MY OWN DOG lol

Post by: Shotgun wg on July 26, 2014, 10:43:19 pm Saw one a lil while back a guy was selling dogs and when asked why he was selling the guy posted a pic and said to many dogs. This boy was in AR. Well lil while later a boy from Texas said the AR boy stole the pics. TX posted several pics of his kennels day and night and this AR boy tried his hardest to convince everyone he hadn't stole the pics to no avail.

Title: Re: Stealing dog pics and claiming them as their own? Post by: rdjustham on July 27, 2014, 05:42:41 pm I posted some pups for sale on a FB page and had pics of the parents on there too. Had a boy send me a message a moth or so after the pups were gone asking If he could ask some questions about the sire. Figured he just wanted to BS about hunting. Boy said, the sire belonged to a buddy of his and was stolen ten years ago. Knew it was crap because ive had him six a buddy for 4 or 5, and he got him as a 1 year old dog from a boy locally that bred and raised him cause he wouldn't work cows. This fellar told me the he KNEW it was his buddys dog because of the freeze brand F on his hip stood for some long name that started with an F. after I told him my dog was hot branded with a close hanger from some local folks who last name was rather short, started with an F and lived 15 min from me, I never heard back from him. rolleyes
Title: Re: Stealing dog pics and claiming them as their own? Post by: TazD on July 27, 2014, 06:46:17 pm A book on hog hunting was published not to long ago, and it was loaded with pictures of other peoples dogs and hogs without getting permission to use them!
I also had someone posting up my pictures on another site! It's funny stuff how pathetic some people can be!! Only my real close friends and people on a few hog dogging sites even know I have dogs and hunt hogs with them! It's a hobby, and the people I hang out with would think I am some back country hillbilly if they knew I hog hunted with dogs because of the way hog doggers are portrayed on TV!! Like the one show that needs sub titles under their vids so you can understand what they are saying! Best to keep it on the down low!! Lol... >:D Title: Re: Stealing dog pics and claiming them as their own? Post by: jfork on July 28, 2014, 08:57:03 am The best part about claiming other peoples dog photos is you don't have to feed em!

Now thats a benifit. But as far as the OP, it is chit sorry for some1 to jack someone elses dog n hog pics to make theirselves to b a hog hunter. Its almost as low as the government. |
