I guess if the taste buds are burned off by spice, nothing would have any taste. I like to taste my food, not beg for ice cream while dropping off the Obama administration.  ;D

Ain't many frog big enough for eating in my area justin, or I would try to cook them myself. R they like craw fish where the meat needs to be purged? Iv eaten craw fish that tasted like mud and the same with catfish if that gray belly lining ain't removed on the filets strips.

Thats right! On the bigguns we do the same, on the smaller frogs we just save the back legs.

Charles, we dont purge ours like we purge crawfish. We simy rinse em real good in cold water once they are cleaned, batter em up and fry em in HOT grease, 350 degreez or so until golden brown, if u ever make it this way we will have to fit froggin in to the agenda, catchin em is almost as fun as eatin em!

151 of them. If done right, no muddy taste. I made my dip with milk, eggs, cayenne, garlic powder, and onion powder and let them sit for 30 mins while I was getting the batter and oil ready. Used seasoned fish fry for batter and came out great

I was kidnapped, blind folded and put in a boat in south LA. The rest of my memory from that night was erased by numerous beverages, and then again on the way back to the landing... damn them little blue cans!  ;D
