Yes sir...it takes a whole bunch of bal...uhh, courage to talk about their experiences. To some it may not seem like that big of a deal, but personally I'm not sure if I could have opened up like they did. I am very appreciative they could, just to give the ones who have not been in combat a better understanding of how taxing war is on the body and mind! Awesome film and I'm very proud of my brothers!

My wife says its taken 7yrs to come out of my "shell" bout things from over there. It took my dad 30yrs to come out and talk bout nam n i know there are things he may nvr reveal. It easier to open up to folks thats been there n seen the same or worse, but opening up to a civi, aint the easiest and i still dont feel comfortable talkin bout some it to a civi head shrink at the va.

Thanks for sharing.  It's a strange thing being back in the states after combat.  I think about my time every single day - I even named my new puppy Ramadi after the city in Al Anbar Province, Iraq.  I don't talk about it much to my friends who weren't over there, when I do I feel very guilty afterwards.  Great video.

Ramadi....we had to leave Fallujah and had to go to Ramadi one time for a "quick" mission. Three days later, I was happier than a pig in slop to make that hour and a half trek back to Fallujah. That was my one time in Ramadi...one time was plenty. What was your MOS Jason A?

When I was enlisted I was an 0311; went over to the dark-side as an officer become an 0302.  With 1/5 during invasion back in '03, then over to 1st ANGLICO for two more tours. Got out in '08.
