    look on this site it has a chart you can look at and can age the knife by the stamp on it  . hope it helps , that's a knife I'd like to have  .

   with out a picture of the stamp to look  at and just by the description you gave it could be from the 30's

Its made from 1932 - 1940

   like I said that's a knife I would appreciate   lol  .  I never looked up any of my cases until I saw your knife and decided to see about aging them . that is a pretty good site for all you case collecter's to look at  .
