Title: Catch vest question.. Post by: fonzie on October 01, 2014, 05:16:55 pm Just wondering how some of hall like a vest to fit... I like mine snug in a dog also don't like it going past the rib cage.... I like my dog to be able to move around with out it being in the way...

Its not tight on cd I would say cant fit my hand between ribs and vest but I like it looser in the rib section tighter in the chest but loose around neck. I use a cut collar with....again its what others done.

And I like to be able to put my hand between the dogs back and the strap, I will snug the first and last strap and he rest are just loose. Only brand we trust Is hardcorehogdog.com

This is how I like mine to fit. The dog on the left is a RCD and spends the whole hunt on the ground with the bay dogs. From strike to catch. The dog on the right is back up.
