Title: Bad Day at Work!!! Post by: ktchemwcurs on September 17, 2009, 01:24:26 pm All right this is my first one so if it is not right IM SORRY!
As many of you that have to work for a living know what a bad day at work is. Well I had one yesterday and I was going to relieve a little stress after work. My stress reliever is hog hunting and watching dogs work. Well of course I call a couple of buddies and they had things to do so they couldn't go. I better clear that up so I won't hear any lip out of them!!!!!! Chris, I'm glad Jen and the baby are OK tell um I love um! Chuck, I will buy you a calender were you can schedule hunts!!!!!!!!! LOL,,,,, Anyway I got home and of corse my girlfriend was as ready to go as I was. Well we loaded dogs and headed about 3 miles down the road to the Liquor store to ice down some refreshments. Then we proceeded a couple of miles down the road to the ranch were we hunt(our back yard practically) and on the way in I talked to the land owner and he said that he seen some rooting a couple of days old. Well we were rideing around in my old truck(79 Chevy 4x4,,,,,,,,,,,same year model as my girlfriend,,,,except she is in a whole lot better shape,,,,,LOL)when I spotted a couple of pigs down wind a couple of hundred yards off and they of course took off. So I rode over and dropped out the two 7 month old BM cur puppies to let them work(try to keep them in the woods at least 3 times a week). They worked like a champ. Put there nose on the ground and took off. Look like two pig hoining devices. Well they caught up with a 150# sow and with a little help from the older dogs bayed her and caught her. Of corse my girlfriend stuck the hog and we drug it to the truck and watered dogs cause they were pretty hot. Well we got home, unloaded dogs, cleaned a pig and was in bed before 9:30. Im old so I have to be in bed before 10!!!!LOL Well the thing about it all is watching young dogs work and catching hogs can make up for a very bad day. Thanks and Katch em with Curs! I have had dogs since 1989 and have never got into the computer stuff,, heck you can even buy dogs off of hear. This is a "Bad Ass" website. I enjoy reading the stories. I live back in the woods and don't get to hear many.

I don't have enough dogs to hunt with yall!!!LOL,,,,,,Hey give me a call, we have been catching some big boars. We caught this one last week with just 4 curs and 1 half cur/half pit. When you got smart dogs you don't need them to catch till you get there. When you have loyal dogs they catch when you want them to catch and not let go until you hollor "Caught HOG". This one here weighed 273 with no guts. We caught him just down the creek from where we went swimming in the 20 degree creek for the contest.

Im gonna build a barn with living quarters. Could used you and Lacey this past grain season, we caught a couple bruisers!! I will call you this weekend and see what yall are gonna be upto.
