has anyone ever used greyhounds crosses for rcds. what did you think of them

Theres a guy in California who uses a pit Greyhound cross. seems to be pretty happy with it. He has a website called california Catchers if your interested.

yeah we have 4 stags which are a greyhound, wolfhound, and deerhound cross.  we just got a litter of pups on the ground out of a razor/gotti pit and a stag so im anxious to see how they do.  but the stags work awsome as rcds...we use them alot at night in grain fields.

I would really like to own a 3/4 pit 1/4 greyhound but I am too lazy to breed one.  The ones that I have seen were pretty impressive animals.  Oddly enough the cross is not easy to find pups out of.

i got a 4 year old reg. boud/ carver gyp that has never been bred and im just wanting to see how the pups would be

Trey Brown,

   If you are interested I can get you in contact with as many greyhounds as you can handle.  Good luck getting one from a retired race adoption program.   I have a contact that is a large breeding/training facility and they will place the dogs that are not going to make the track. Most of these dogs are just around a year old or so, and have been handled daily.

I wanted to cross Mandi's greyhound with Mike's Clifford.  to make 1/2 grey hound x 1/4 cat x 1/4 AB....she didn't go for it though. :(

Why not....she was tryin to breed Clifford and Shiner  ;D ;)
