Post by: Jmesonp1 on February 24, 2015, 11:43:21 am
Do you download the subscription to your computer and then transfer images to the GPS unit? Ive been messing with it for an hour and getting more and more confused.

N thats why they create an instruction manual with fairly simple step by step instructions. As computer stupid as i am, where i got topo usa for 220, i read the instruction booklet first and then followed along with booklet for each step to get it downloaded onto my sd card. Then followed the 220 manual to set my unit up to read off my sd card instead of the factory programing. If all else fails, download the book and follow instructions. 9.5 out of 10 times, the instructions are correct. Its usually operator error that prevents items from working as prescribed

I figured out my problem. I had borrowed my unit to a buddy and he registered it and downloaded some maps. I cant register a product that's already registered.
