Title: Uncle Earls Post by: Cajun on March 22, 2015, 02:56:14 pm I just returned from American Plott Days in South Carolina. Compared to two years ago when attendance was 3600 people & I don't know how many dogs,it was a pretty small crowd there because of no live animals in the bayings. Peta & HSUS are trying to take our rights away one by one. Still, it was good to visit with a lot of the plott folks who did show up.

You bring up a good point to expand on. I hope everyone that can attend Uncle Earls, Plott Days, or any other dog sporting event does so. I've been at Uncle Earls probably 8 of the last 10 years or so. I is a good event and lots of stuff to see and people to meet. I think a decline in attendance shows (or appears to show) a lack of unity among us. Maybe said better...a high attendance at such events shows strong unity. Years ago I wasn't big on Facebook groups and other social events, my mind has changed in order to stay united with other fellow dog hunters.
