Title: Eligible for an Upgrade Post by: Reuben on March 29, 2015, 05:56:47 am My Samsung 3 phone wasn't keeping a charge for long...I checked it as well as I could and still wasn't getting any better...the first AT&T store said they couldn't troubleshoot it but by looking at my file he said I was eligible for an Upgrade...so I asked for my options... 8)

I didnt like that idea i hate being in contracts so i took it to place and they fix the charging port it works great now. Its in lake jackson tx next to tbe food king .

He said 2 years...I'm not very smart but that is almost 5 hundred dollars....I said thats not a good deal...he says that is a great deal...I said I would like to pay cash for the eligible phone...that is 200 cash and I said that sounds like a good deal compared to 500 bucks...he said not really...you will pay 200 bucks and you phone bill will go up 25 bucks a month from now on...so I said why...he says because it is in the contract...but you can pay regular price for a phone and all stays the same...and that is why nothing down and 18 bucks a month is a great deal...I told him no phone is worth that and as much as I like AT&T I would change companies before I paid that much I said...he says it is a free country and you have choices...I asked him to trouble shoot my phone because I thought it could be my battery. ..he said they didn't have the capability there but the other store did...long story short the other store couldn't help me... so I went to batteries and bulbs and got a better quality battery for for 39 bucks and luckily that solved my problem...the salesman also hooked me up with the best rechargeable double A's for my garmin...
last time when I replaced my old phone with this one because I had broken my last phone I learned to be extra careful with this one because of the potential high price...luckily I had become eligible for a good deal back then...but I didn't look too hard into that good deal...if I had maybe it would not have been such a good deal after all... >:( after checking out all my elgibilities and options I now like and appreciate my old Samsung 3...it is holding a charge better than ever now... :) Title: Re: Eligible for an Upgrade Post by: dallas22 on March 29, 2015, 07:07:24 am Yea thats the same deal they tried to give me. Well i like my galaxy s3 im not gonna let go till they give me a real FREE upgrade even then maybe not.
