Title: Good hunt bad ending Post by: Judge peel on April 16, 2015, 12:01:32 am Was hunting with some buddy's got a nice boar and was moving the hog to the truck and my buddy Kevin n a lot of y'all see him on here fell backwards off a 12 feet or so drop off landing on his back. He is in the hospital as I am posting this he could use some prayers guys thanks.

Was walking backwards shining up the tree and stepped right off the edge. He broke some ribs. I hope your friend makes a fast and full recovery. Prayers for him from my family !

I don't know kevin personally but I have exchanged countless txts/pm's and phone calls with him. He is truely one of the good guys in this sport. Sure hope he pulls through this with no issues, we need more guys like Kevin around, he is good people in my book.

Makes me sick I won't be at the Veterans Xtreme Adventures bay on the 25th. Tasha and Travis Baker and I have worked real hard to make this event something special....and it still will be...it'll be worth the trip out even if your not a fan of the bay pen scene. They're will be mutton bustin for the kids and goat roping and wild boar ballet for the "big kids", lol. Plus vendors and good food...it's a good clean family event.
Just a little update on me...my L4 vertebrae was pretty much shattered and I will probably be going under the knife next week sometime. I'm man enough to say it...I'm a bit concerned. I probably walked a good 100 feet. I was still a bit wobbly but I tell you...it was a load off my mind being able to at least do that. I REALLY appreciate the prayers and positive vibes sent my way.
