I was reading on a hunting fourm that there was a report that some have escaped game ranches, reported sightings @ Chaparral WMA

Seasonal. I'm not sure but they could possibly have 2 litters a year in those parts of Africa that have 2 rainy seasons but as far as I know it's once a year. Much more chewy than pig meat.

  If a wart gets out , you find it. Breeding pairs are worth over 25 k. People see black panthers too , still waiting on that proof.

So wart hogs arent a species of pig are they? Cant interbreed with wild hogs?

There is an article in LONESTAR OUTDOOR news a free paper at most gas stations on them being around Dilley and Cathoula
