Down here after they get 3 cuts off it. After they cut it in July - august they really flood it and it grows back for them to cut again. We still have standing rice in September for teal season and I have seen them harvesting the first week of November

They finished cutting on a Tuesday... the following Saturday they had water pumping into the fields.
