Title: Re: Working him over Post by: Slim9797 on October 02, 2015, 02:16:45 pm Do you think it's harder for a dog to get a hog to sit down in open pasture like that or in the thick of it? Dang Good dog work!

Title: Re: Working him over Post by: TexasHogDogs on October 02, 2015, 02:56:10 pm They pretty much know its coming and get out when it goes off. Usually when they see me throw the gun up they will back off some . I think it caught Horn off gaurd on that one. We had been on that hog a while . Crossed the river with him, then a big big lake, then a FM Road and then into that field there. The Ive seen more sit down in the wood more than the open like that don't know why.

It's got a ton of knock down stay down power. My gun is a sawed off old goose gun, sawed off to around 18 inches barrel there is no real ng how many Hogs it has sent home . I can nail a five gallon bucket at 90 to 100 yds every time with it also open sites no bead on the barrel.. Most accurate gun I have ever shot.

Title: Re: Working him over Post by: Pwilson_10 on October 02, 2015, 07:05:44 pm Man that's awesome I always carry a 12 gage with buck shot for running ass hogs when I can get to a road in front of the dogs to slow it down but most of the time it rolls them up
