Garmin now owns Triconics... I just bought the Garmin delta XC and love it!

I had the Tri-Tonics 1st and liked them and had no issues.  Buddy had the SportDog system and he could always get further range out of his so I switched over and I can get further distance out of mine also.  I use the 6-dog system and you can set it up to "tone" or "viberate" and I seem to always have better luck with the "viberate" instead of the "tone".  I believe that if a dog is hasselling real hard I think they can not hear the "tone" but they always feel that "viberate".

Now this being said I also have a Alpha unit with a TT10 collar and 3 T15 collars that I love and again the T15s I run on the viberate mode.

I have not tried any of the new Tri-Tonics since Garmin bought them out.
