Title: kennel cough Post by: dallas22 on December 20, 2015, 05:27:15 pm I got a new dog im thinking she has kennel cough. What can i give her to fix this?

I have given dogs with it antibiotics but it has not helped. What I would do is isolate her. Get her away from your other dogs & give them a bordatella shot to prevent them from getting it.

OK I GET SOME FROM TSC AND GET MY DOGS AWAY FROM HER. THANKS CAJUN Title: Re: kennel cough Post by: liefalwepon on December 20, 2015, 07:08:05 pm usually its adenovirus or parainflueza, but best to keep them separate in case its bordatella or distemper, it can last for weeks and spread to all your dogs with varying severity quickly. When I lived in town and had strays visiting my yard I had most my dogs coughing a couple years ago, it took two months to run its course, now I separate them, and got the heck outa town. vitamin C helps, keep em warm and dry, give em a mineral supplement
